The point at which the pharmacy will still continue an existing patient, recorded as a number from its published policy or a written answer to Ogovy, not estimated.

Accepts transfers

They will assess patients already on Wegovy tablets, including people turned away elsewhere for a low BMI.

Why the maintenance price is the one that matters

A welcome offer saves you once. The standing price on 25mg is what you pay every month for as long as treatment lasts, and treatment at this stage often runs a year or more. The spread between the cheapest and dearest maintenance-friendly pharmacy at the top strength is several hundred pounds a year for the same tablet from the same manufacturer, so this is the number to optimise once you are stable, not the starter deal.

Two other levers help. Multi-month supplies usually price better per pack and suit a settled dose, and some pharmacies price-match a lower published figure. Both are visible in the filters above.

It is the monthly price for an ongoing Wegovy tablet prescription at a pharmacy that will keep prescribing once your BMI has fallen, rather than a first order offer that expires after one month. This list only shows pharmacies with a confirmed maintenance route.

At what BMI do pharmacies stop prescribing the Wegovy pill?

It is set by each pharmacy, not by law. On this list the lowest confirmed maintenance BMI is 19, and most continue at 20 to 22. Mainstream pharmacies commonly stop at 25 or will not start below 27. Every pharmacy still makes its own clinical decision at review.

Which tablet strength do maintenance patients pay for?

Most people maintain on the 25mg tablet, the top strength, though some hold at 9mg on prescriber advice. Compare the strength you are on. The starter 1.5mg price tells you nothing about the cost of maintenance.

Is there a time limit on Wegovy pill treatment?
